We Hope to See You at IWF in Atlanta

IWF AtlantaSince 1998, we’ve paid our biannual visit to the IWF (the International Woodworking Forum), one of the largest, most well-attended woodworking symposiums of its kind in North America. This year’s conference, from August 22 – 25 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, shouldn’t prove to be any exception, with over 10,000 anticipated attendees. All forms of woodworking, from cabinetry, to home furnishings, to carpentry, to antiques, will be represented by the leading names in their respective industries. In short, it is the perfect opportunity for our company to forge new business opportunities, create strategic partnerships with both North American and overseas companies, and get back in touch with old clients.

Being that one of DCT Leathers’ primary focuses is in the restorative leather furniture, the IWF has provided us with thousands of customers, contacts, and friends since we first started showcasing our handiwork seven symposiums ago. It’s both surprising, and – to be perfectly honest – quite gratifying when someone we met ten years ago at a previous IWF conference suddenly calls us out of the blue, upon finding our card from a decade ago somewhere in the recesses of their desk, and asks us our quote for a first-time leather desktop. It shows we leave a lasting impression on customers’ minds. It shows how our leather products are built to withstand all the tests and tarnishes the years can dish out. In this instant age, where everything feels replaceable, and every product comes with (at best) a two-year warranty, it’s good to know that people remember our twofold message: lasting quality.

Each show has been worth every penny spent exhibiting. We hope to see you at our booth 1911 August 22 – 25!
